China’s official statement came from the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hua Chunying. It was noteworthy that China deliberately avoided using the word “occupation” in its official statement.
Chunying said in a statement that foreign journalists described Russia’s military intervention as an “occupation”, but they did not accept it. The Beijing administration stated that Russia, as a sovereign country, has the right to act in its own interests.
The Chinese government denounced the sanctions against Russia, along with the invasion of Ukraine, and stated that they rejected all of them.

Although Russia is one of the largest wheat producers in the world, it cannot benefit from this situation due to the sanctions that have been going on for years.
China has also issued a warning text and statement for its citizens living in Ukraine.
